Unridden Ambassador Code of Conduct
What every Ambassador agrees to uphold.
Welcome to the Unridden Ambassador Program! As an Ambassador, you are the face, voice, and spirit of Unridden in your local community. You play a vital role in building an inclusive, accurate, and thriving network for trail users everywhere.
This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for your behavior, representation, and stewardship. By accepting the role of an Unridden Ambassador, you agree to uphold these principles.
1. Community & Inclusivity
- Zero Tolerance for Discrimination: Unridden is for everyone. We strictly prohibit discrimination, harassment, or exclusion based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, or physical ability.
- Be Friendly and Helpful: Always approach interactions within the community with empathy, patience, and a helpful attitude. Whether online or at the trailhead, you represent the welcoming nature of the Unridden community.
2. Brand Representation & Advocacy
- Positively Promote Unridden: Actively share your passion for the platform. Seek opportunities to introduce new riders, runners, and outdoor enthusiasts to Unridden.
- Constructive Internal Feedback: We want to build the best app possible, and your feedback is crucial. If you encounter bugs, feature flaws, or have grievances, bring them to the internal Unridden staff privately first. Give us the opportunity to address and fix issues before airing technical complaints or denigrating the app publicly.
- No Unauthorized Business: You may not conduct business, strike partnerships, or make financial commitments in the name of Unridden without explicit prior written consent from internal staff.
3. Stewardship & Data Integrity
- Local Area Stewardship: You are a guardian of the regions and cities you manage. Act as a bridge between local trail organizations, land managers, and the Unridden user base to ensure a respectful trail ecosystem.
- Transparency in Trail Mapping: To keep the platform reliable, you must not hide or intentionally withhold any public, legal trails from the Unridden system.
- Adherence to Guidelines: You agree to fully read, understand, and abide by the official Unridden Ambassador Guidelines .
4. Trail & Environmental Etiquette
- Lead by Example: As a steward, you are expected to advocate for and practice responsible trail use. Always follow local trail rules, respect seasonal closures, yield appropriately to other trail users, and champion environmental sustainability (Leave No Trace).
5. Volunteer, Unpaid Role
- This is an unpaid, volunteer position. Being an Ambassador is a volunteer role. It is unpaid, and accepting it does not create an employment, contractor, partnership, or agency relationship with Unridden or Cobalt Edge LLC.
- Perks are not compensation. Unridden may offer badges, recognition, swag, event opportunities, or other perks when available, but these are appreciation — not guaranteed compensation for your time.
6. Enforcement & Consequences
Breaches of this Code of Conduct will be reviewed by the Unridden team. We value our community deeply, and violations of these principles may result in immediate action, including:
- Removal from the Ambassador program.
- Revocation of regional management privileges.
- Temporary suspension or permanent termination of your Unridden account.
